The duster jacket

I absolutely love a Duster jacket! 😊

They are such a great easy and versatile way to add to your outfit. Wear it with skinny jeans, a nice cami and some high heeled court shoes, chuck it over a plain black dress for a great coverup or just used as an extra addition to your outfit to add a pop of colour or print – the possibilities are endless!

I Have a few different colours and styles in my wardrobe that I mix and match with various outfits and Separates, I tend to wear them mostly with skinny jeans and a nice pair of heels or ankle boots and keep it quite simple with a cami underneath and I will then accessorise them with a few pieces of jewellery and a statement clutch bag if it’s for the evening or a printed scarf and my handbag if its in the daytime.

I have a selection of colours like Khaki, blush, black and grey which all go with pretty much everything, so they are a real staple part of my wardrobe and my definite go to piece when I need a quick and easy outfit. I have three in particular that I wear the most – a blush coloured one from River Island with gold button detail on the sides, a Khaki chiffon style from Boohoo.com with front pockets and a black crepe fabric edge to edge style with a chiffon pleated back from Vero Moda.

There are so many great styles all over the high street to choose from in different types of fabrics like chiffon, silk and velvet to name a few that there really is one for all occasions. They are great for dressing up or down for day or night or even keeping it really casual with a t shirt and a pair of converse or your favourite trainers, add a belt to accessorise and your good to go! They also make a great alternative to a structured blazer or jacket or just as nice cover up option and are really good for layering up.

Try places like New look, River Island, Boohoo.com, Missguided, Pretty little thingSilkFred, Topshop and Asos for good affordable versions that are on trend and available in a good mix of styles and colours, you can also pick up some great styles in vintage shops and these are often in really nice unique prints and would be a great one of a kind addition to your collection.
