We are continually adding new and exciting suppliers and partners to our Event concierge service and this week’s featured supplier is no exception to that , this week we have a new supplier that is all about the Whiskey! 🙂

SVS Event Concierge is delighted to partner with Whiskey Island with our Dublin concierge service offering premium tours and tasting experiences.

Whiskey Island offers fully escorted whiskey trails and distillery tours across Ireland with various tour and tasting options available to enjoy.

Dublin is home to distilleries such as Jameson, Teeling whiskey and  Pearse Lyons to name a few. You really can’t beat an Irish whiskey!

Here, founder John Callely tells us more about the service:

“A brand new concept in Irish tourism – escorted whiskey trails to Ireland’s distilleries and whiskey brand homes. All whiskey stops telling their stories, and giving visitors the chance to sample great Irish whiskeys, at their birthplace.

 Dublin will have 6 whiskey stops in the city by Summer 2019, including 4 fully operational distilleries. For those who would like to visit more than one distillery, I do whiskey trails through the city. The experience is a 5 hour duration and we hit all the hotspots on the Dublin whiskey scene. It’s not all about whiskey of course – it’s a city tour with whiskey at the heart of it.

 We also do fun tutored tastings privately all over the Dublin – we cater for big numbers and it makes for a great enhancement to any gala dinner or event. For smaller numbers (less than 50) we do a special tasting that includes a whiskey from each province of Ireland, then we compare to Scotch and Bourbon. We’ve a model distillery to bring the whiskey making process to life and we serve a whiskey cocktail for an Irish toast. It’s never stuffy or serious, it’s authentic and fun, and you don’t have to know a lot about whiskey or even like it to take part. Most importantly, it gives everyone a chance to learn something new!”
