Dining with a difference
Kerry is home to some of the best local and artisan food producers in Ireland and fast becoming a renowned international food destination with our chefs being recognised nationally as leaders in their field.
For the adventurous foodie, options range from learning how to forage for seaweed and selecting oysters direct from the sea, catch & cook fish, making your own butter or ice-cream through to creating your own gin, flavoured with local ingredients from the Wild Atlantic Way.

Commitment to Sustainability and holding Green Events
Kerry is a destination committed to sustainability, currently ranking #20 on the Global Destination Sustainability Index. We work with our membership to reduce our industries impact on the environment and provide ‘green’ meeting options.
If your organisation is looking to deliver legacy outcomes to your event and give something back to the local community, we have a range of meaningful Corporate Social Responsibility activities on offer, including many with a sustainability focus e.g., building bird boxes, butterfly houses and beehives, replanting areas affected by forest fires, beach clean ups etc.

Safety First
While it might still be some time before business travel is back on the agenda for many, our Kerry Convention Bureau members and Irish tourism partners are busy adapting to a changed world, preparing to welcome visitors again, with added protection.
Our members are committed to providing a safe environment in which you can feel confident to organise events and over the last year, many have completed industry training including the Fáilte Ireland COVID-19 Safety Charter and Kerry’s Safe Destination Programme.
They have focused on improving safety standards, implementing protocols, and refurbishing facilities, getting ready to swing open the doors to business tourism visitors again in the future. Some have added purpose-built outdoor spaces and updated their premises with clever refurbishments in line with COVID-19 safety recommendations.
When the time is right to welcome groups again, our hotels, venues, event spaces and activity providers will be ready once more for you to book a MICE trip that your attendees will never forget.
