Dublin’s fair City – My second home!

It’s said that Dublin, once visited, is never forgotten, and this is certainly true in my case! 😊

Dublin is a bold and vibrant city full of Life and culture and it has a unique charm that simply cannot be found anywhere else. I absolutely love being in this city and exploring all it has to offer; no trip is ever the same and there is always something new to discover and new people to meet, the saying goes “there are no strangers in Dublin, only friends that haven’t met yet” and there is never a truer word spoken! The people are warm, friendly and welcoming and really are a huge part of what makes this city such a great place to be.

Its a cool, creative and laid back city that is beautiful all year round with lovely open spaces like Stephen’s Green and the Iveagh Gardens to stroll through and iconic landmarks and venues like Trinity College, Ha’penny bridge, Guinness storehouse and Croke Park stadium all close by.

The city is full of trendy bars, a great food scene, traditional Irish pubs and stylish shopping areas to discover. There are lots of lovely little local cafes and bars to sit and enjoy a coffee whilst watching the world go by and some amazing unique cocktail venues to enjoy.

Walking the infamous cobble stones of Temple bar you can find live music on every corner and local homegrown talent in abundance, its such a lovely way to spend an afternoon listening to good music over a few cheeky Jameson’s, ginger ale and lime or a pint of the black stuff!

As well as being an amazing city you also have the beautiful Irish countryside, Powerscourt gardens and Wicklow mountains practically on your doorstep as well as lovely seaside towns like Howth also close by so you really do have the best of both worlds on offer.

For me this is a city that feels like home and is truly my happy place 🙂
